The Precinct

Another casual dinner at The Precinct situated in Victoria Park. This place is amongst the cafe strip, found right next door to San Churros.

The Precinct has a huge selection of beers – from memory our waitress mentioned there was about 80 on the menu. A little chaotic if you ask me,
so we ended up with some wine instead.

Pictured above, we started with some cured meats, pickled veggies, a side of dijon mustard and of course some sourdough bread to bring it all together. Just right to get the mouth salivating.

We then moved on to sharing a good meaty set of braised beef cheeks and charred cabbage topped with crispy shallots and from the sea, some white fish in a warm orange and cider vinaigrette – nice and tangy!

There was a gorgeous dessert to end the night – chocolate torte with salted caramel ice cream and raspberry jelly.
