Enrique’s School for to Bullfighting

Before I begin, the title of this post has not been misspelt. Not sure what it means, but I guess it is a good talking point for those that come here. This gorgeous pop-up store opened on Beaufort St, Highgate, right next door to The Beaufort St Merchant. It’s a great little place for date night with your loved ones, a girly catch up with your bestie or a group get together. But, be sure to book if you intend to go with more than 4 people.

With a tasty selection of tapas plates to share, things just don’t get any better. Again, we probably over ordered for 2 girls, but we managed to get through most of it. Starting from the top:
– Roast Pumpkin Salad with hazelnuts (Not a big fan so these were pushed to the side), goats cheese and crispy jamon.
– Chips – Enrique style. Pressed, crumbed potato pieces with a delicious sauce to match.
– Sherry glazed baby carrots and charred asparagus, balsamic pear and a beetroot cream.
– Enrique’s beef ribs with bbq sauce and chipotle slaw. Absolutely devine!

With a selection of wine and cocktails to choose from this place boasts a dedicated menu to a range of gin and tonics. You choose the type of gin, the tonic to mix with and a topping of your choice.

Enrique says relax!
