Sushi Tei, Singapore

A recent trip to Singapore brought me back to the beloved Sushi Tei restaurant. Although apparently there are better places now for Japanese food, thanks to my dear brother who told me this after we dined there!

Entrees consisted of Ebi and Yasai Kakiage (prawn and vegetable tempura), crab meat and cucumber sushi roll topped with lobster salad, fried pork dumplings and of course the infamous Sushi Tei Sashimi Salad managed with nothing but special Sushi Tei dressing.

Grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce, a serving of steamed rice and delightful miso soup was complimented nicely with some hot sake to wash it all down for my main.

The one we went to was at Raffles City Shopping centre. I would have preferred to stop there for lunch whilst shopping as it was a little daunting walking through the shops all dressed up, ready for a night out.

Stay tuned for my next visit to Singapore which will hopefully see a new Japanese restaurant to be tried.

If you love Jap food, try The Sushi Bar @ Far East Plaza next time you’re back in Singapore. Their salmon aburi roll and chirashi don are to die for! 🙂
