eat, drink, travel!

Petition

That time of year where the eating festivities begin!

Tried one of Perth’s latest restaurants in the Heritage Building precinct just off St Georges Tce. Firstly we were seated on a tall table which was a little uncomfortable but it did the job for a couple of hours. My back would have broken any longer (exaggerated!)

I had the dry aged harvey beef sirloin with watercress, lentils and shallot. The beef was terrific for a non-specialised meat place. Juicy and tender and it didn’t need any sauce. Usually mine is coated with some sort of peppercorn gravy if I can’t chew through the meat on its own. Finished off by sharing a chocolate mousse dessert, which presented well but wasn’t fantastic. I don’t get all these fancy desserts, I would be happy with just ice-cream thanks.

Looking forward to trying some other restaurants opening in this area in the coming months!
