Boracay Island

No filters required! Absolute bliss at this little place you can actually call paradise.

It was 8 days of absolute fun in the sun. Highly recommended to travel there once in your life. From Perth, we flew to Singapore to Manila to Caticlan (yes 3 flights), then a short boat trip to the island. We were very fortunate not to have too many delays but have heard some horror stories about Manila airport from some fellow travellers. Once you get to your hotel, unpack and freshen up, you will realise it was well worth the chaos. I would definitely say you should fly in to Caticlan if you are able to and spend that little bit more cash instead of flying to Kalibo as you then need to take another 2 hour bus ride to the jetty.

We stayed at Henann Lagoon resort which was a fantastic location. The rooms could do with an upgrade to their wifi and airconditioning system, however the pool and poolbar was superb.

A must do is Spiderhouse (night picture above) but get in there early before the sunset otherwise you won’t get in. Great to hang out and go for a swim during the day to!

My first time jetskiing there to and it was so much fun. A little more expensive for this sport but it was something I always wanted to do. You should also try zip-lining. Unfortunately this was a no go for me but the boys and my courageous girlfriend sure loved it.

I don’t want to spoil too much more so just go! Book!
