Heirloom by Pete Evans

Mmm char-grilled octopus with slices of chorizo and harissa to start. The octopus had a tinge of vinegar through, I think, which made it very tangy. Easy to slice through and went down a treat.

Next up was Barramundi (pictured above) with sweet potato puree, coconut and a dash of lime. The only downfall was the serving size. Teeny tiny and not enough for a full grown male. I had to share my pork belly (featured image) with the Mr.

Sharing is caring right?

So we had to end with a couple of desserts. I spotted the rocky road on a friend’s FB post which is what made me want to try this place. Got to the restaurant and the menu stated a Paleo Rocky Road. I had to ensure it was still going to be tasty! It was! And doesn’t it look great to?

The bottom image, strawberry shortcake with pistachio and coconut gelato. Which will you decide?

Go both!

It was! If you’re in Perth WA it is at the Fraser Apartments on Adelaide Tce.

Oh great, I’m in Perth so I’ve just added it to my never ending list of restaurants to visit 🙂
