The Guildford Hotel

The new Guildford Hotel was a little trek outside of the CBD area. Newly refurbished after a fire hit some time ago, the aged building sets quite the mood for a weekend chill.

BBQ meats on the grill served with a side of vinegar and lemon coleslaw, a dash of home cooked beans, pickled onion and cucumber and fresh bread were devine. Just what you need after a trek out at John Forrest National Park! Well ours wasn’t so much a trek, rather a 2 minute stroll followed by kangaroo feeding – but hey still well deserved.

The desserts weren’t fantastic, a little on the dry side but loved how they were served in a jar. Apparently that’s the thing to do these days and it did entice us to buy a couple to try.

Go check it out!
